NEW CITY MAN ARRAIGNED ON AN INDICTMENT FOR PREDATORY SEXUAL ASSAULT AGAINST A CHILD

NEW CITY, N.Y. – Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announces that Miguel Mishquero-Paguay, 34, of New City, New York, was arraigned in Rockland County Court, Dec. 8, 2025, on an indictment charging him with one count of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and one count of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree.

The following is as alleged in documents filed and statements made in court:

Between June 1, 2022, and Dec. 1, 2023, the defendant sexually abused a female child while she was under the age of 13 at several locations throughout Rockland County.

The defendant faces a minimum of 10 years-to-life and a maximum of 25 years-to-life in state prison.

“My Office remains committed to securing justice and will ensure the victim has the resources and support she needs as the criminal proceedings continue,” said District Attorney Walsh.

The investigation was conducted by the Spring Valley Police Department, the Ramapo Police Department, and the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office Special Victim’s Unit.

The case is being prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Brittany Richardson and Supervising Assistant District Attorney Emily McNiff.
