TWO DEFENDANTS PLEAD GUILTY IN ROCKLAND COUNTY DRUG TASK FORCE’S “OPERATION SPRING CLEANING”
NEW CITY, N.Y. – Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announced today that two defendants who were arrested pursuant to the Rockland County District Attorney's Office “Operation Spring Cleaning” have pled guilty. “Operation Spring Cleaning” was conducted by the Rockland Drug Task Force under the superior direction of Chief of Investigators Deirdre Smith and Task Force Director William Martinez.
On September 22, 2026, Tyrone Stewart, DOB 12-13-1990, pled guilty to two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree before the Honorable David Ascher in Rockland County Court. Defendant admitted to selling crack cocaine on February 26, 2026, and April 14, 2026, to another person in Nyack in exchange for United States Currency. Stewart will be sentenced as a second felony drug offender to four years state prison and two years post release supervision on each count to run concurrently.
On September 22, 2026, Frantz Beauvais, DOB 10-05-1986, also pled guilty to one count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. Defendant admitted to selling crack cocaine on March 11, 2026, to another person in Nyack in exchange for United States Currency. Beauvais will be sentenced as a second felony drug offender with a prior violent felony to seven years state prison and between 1.5 to 3 years post release supervision.
The sentencing date for both defendants is currently scheduled for December 15, 2026.
The Rockland County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force is comprised of the District Attorney’s Investigators, Town of Ramapo Police Department, Town of Haverstraw Police Department and the Village of Suffern police Department.
These cases were prosecuted by Executive Assistant District Attorney Michael Peterson and Assistant District Attorney Tina Thermadam respectively.
