3RD GRAND JURY TERM OF 2026 CONCLUDES

NEW CITY, N.Y. – District Attorney Thomas E. Walsh II announces the completion of the 3rd grand jury term of 2026. The grand jury term started on March 6, 2026, and was completed on April 1, 2026, handing up 13 indictments. The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office is committed to seeking justice for the people of Rockland County in a speedy manner pursuant to the guidelines set forth by the Office of Court Administration. The following is a list of indicted cases:

·       Oscar Ramirez-Ramirez – Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child-Two Counts; Rape in the First Degree-Two Counts.

·       Ellin Lopez Tavarez – Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with Child-Four Counts.

·       Jose Sarceno-Medrano & Josset Barrera-Cazco – Robbery in the Second Degree-Two Counts; Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree-Two Counts; Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree.

·       Yamil Caraballo – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.

·       Rafael Julaj-Par – Robbery in the First Degree, Robbery in the Second Degree, Menacing in the Second Degree, Theft of Services.

·       Pierre Richard Louis Jean – Burglary in the Second Degree; Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

·       Jose Carillo – Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree; Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree-Two Counts.

·       Dylan Lopez – Attempted Assault in the First Degree; Assault in the Second Degree; Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree; Petit Larceny; Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree.

·       Kevin Nunez-Lopez – Robbery in the First Degree; Robbery in the Second Degree; Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree; Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree.

·       Franklin Toaquiza-Toaquiza – Assault in the Third Degree as a Hate Crime.

·       Martin Campos-Veliz, Dario Hernandez Vasquez & Santiago Tzalam – Robbery in the First Degree; Robbery in the Second Degree-Two Counts; Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree; Assault in the Third Degree; Petit Larceny; Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.

·       Jeremy Robertston – Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree-Two Counts; Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree-Two Counts.

·       Stanley Pascal – Burglary in the Second Degree; Assault in the Second Degree; Aggravated Criminal Contempt-Two Counts, Criminal Contempt in the First Degree-Two Counts; Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree; Assault in the Third Degree; Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.

*It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation, and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
